In going with the theme of my last post, today I…
- Created a new wiki…
- Searched for a video tutorial…
- Signed up for Slideshare…
- Downloaded a tutorial slide show…
- Remixed the existing tutorial…
- Posted remixed tutorial and embedded it on new wiki…
- Thought about names for the son my wife and I are expecting…
- Taught 4th graders how to use spell check and thesaurus in word processor…
- Helped 5th graders create posters…
- Read an interesting online article about the accuracy of Web 2.0…
- Invited 10 colleagues to collaborate on wiki…
And that was just before lunch, phew!
The 5th graders playing “All You Need is Love” across the hallway on their recorders helped 🙂
Today I fell asleep as I read my son a bedtime story, woke up an hour late with the print of our rug on my face, ate some ice cream and congratulated you on the upcoming addition to your family and for having an incredibly productive day.
Ah, but your achievements greatly outweigh mine if your prioritize them based on fatherly karma 🙂
in my english 308 class we talked about how important it is to read to children even to babies. in my ed 205 class we discuss technology in education. we have been discussing how blogs, web casts, and wikis work. We have also discussed how a paperless classroom could be a possibility in the future. i am hoping that some of the new technology will be available when i become a teacher so that it will be able to help then in their learning processes.
